Job Title: Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Unit Manager to join our team at Lepton Heights, a new care home providing high-quality care to adults with complex needs.

About the Role:

As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing and care colleagues to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents. You will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager to drive quality and maintain high standards of care on your unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Health Care Assistants to ensure high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and medical needs are met.
  • Oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks on your unit, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
  • Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, responsible for their care profiles and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Supervise and manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication on your unit.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Unit Manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to adults with complex needs. You will have:

  • A thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team.
  • An enthusiastic approach to encouraging and motivating staff to deliver high-quality care.
  • The ability to work confidently on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • A good standard of digital skills and the ability to use technology to support care delivery.
