About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at RSE, a market leader in delivering engineered solutions for the treatment and purification of water. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative water treatment and water recycling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design aspects of projects from inception to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards.
  • Develop design deliverables, including detailed designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters are addressed.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to implement project change control and programme requirements.
  • Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects, overseeing the design process from start to finish.
Requirements
  • Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of British and European design standards.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven track record as a Mechanical Engineer in both a design office and in a construction environment within the Water (or related Process) Industry.
