About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at RSE, a leading provider of engineered solutions for the treatment and purification of water.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of our water treatment and water recycling equipment, with a focus on driving innovative carbon-neutral technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for water treatment and recycling equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards
  • Develop and maintain design deliverables, including contract works information documents
  • Ensure project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters are addressed
  • Liaise with stakeholders to implement project change control and programme requirements
  • Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects
Requirements
  • Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of British and European design standards
  • Minimum of 5 years proven track record as a Mechanical Engineer in both a design office and in a construction environment within the Water (or related Process) Industry
