About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at RSE, a market leader in delivering engineered solutions for the treatment and purification of water. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing low-carbon solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design aspects of projects from inception to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Develop design deliverables, including detailed designs, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Oversee the procurement of goods and services, and manage the approval process.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure project success.
  • Implement project change control and programme requirements, and take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects.
Requirements
  • Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of British and European design standards.
  • Minimum of 5 years' proven track record as a Mechanical Engineer in both a design office and in a construction environment within the Water (or related Process) Industry.
