Events Waiter/Team Leader

Our events floor is a unique and exciting space, with our function rooms set in the bank's former grand meeting rooms. From weddings to parties, conferences to product showcases, The Ned's 6th floor is a destination in itself.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to our guests, delivering a memorable experience.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of all of our food and beverage items, and understand and operate the point of sale (POS) system.
  • Work varied shifts, mainly in the afternoons and evenings, and be flexible to work Monday to Sunday.
  • Carry out set up and tear down of each event from start to finish.
  • Assist each event in accordance with the guest wishes as specified on the function sheet, performing duties as waiting staff, bartender, and host.
  • Supervise casual agency waiting staff prior to, during, and post each event in the presence of a supervisor/Manager.
  • Ensure all casual waiting staff standards and procedures are met whilst in front of house areas and back of house areas.
  • Carry out necessary preparation in planning forthcoming functions for equipment, linen, glassware, and silver.
