About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by performing a variety of tasks including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Operate a range of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, has good written and verbal communication skills, and is able to work on their own initiative. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be required to work a part-time schedule, 12 hours per week, on Saturdays and Sundays.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44, plus a Sunday premium of £2.72 per hour.
