About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Specialist to join our Governance and Reporting team within Put Right & Stop Happening. This role will play a critical part in the remediation space, working closely with stakeholders to effectively manage end-to-end remediations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end governance advice and support to ensure the effective running of remediation and change initiatives.
  • Work closely with Delivery Manager/Delivery Leads to identify, log, and articulate risks and issues, and escalate where required.
  • Develop and maintain programme plans, identifying risks, slippages, and associated impacts.
  • Establish and create content for governance forums, ensuring standards are fit for purpose.
  • Manage relevant governance repositories and project mailboxes.
  • Collaborate with risk and policy stakeholders to identify society attestations and progress returns.
Requirements
  • Proven project management experience, ideally within a financial services institution.
  • Experience in following a governance framework through a project lifecycle.
  • Ability to identify, log, and articulate risks and issues, and escalate where required.
  • Experience in creating programme plans and identifying risks, slippages, and associated impacts.
  • Establishing and creating content for governance forums, ensuring standards are fit for purpose.
  • People management experience of several staff at one time.
  • Management of relevant governance repositories and project mailboxes.
  • Experience working with risk and policy stakeholders to identify society attestations and progress returns.
