SQL Data Governance Specialist - £50-55,000 - London/Hybrid

The 360 Resourcing Solutions is a leading insurance group who help protect industries around the world from the risks they face. With a strong presence in the market, we also have international connections and have doubled in size over the last four years.

Due to exciting growth particularly across Data Governance and Analytics we are looking for a SQL Data Governance Specialist on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract with every chance of extension.

As our new SQL Data Governance Specialist you will be working closely with the data team to deliver governance and support strategic data projects. You will be comfortable writing SQL and able to open SSIS. You will work almost as a Business Intelligence Analyst looking at ways of improving how businesses manage data.

On a daily basis the SQL Data Governance Specialist will:

  • Engage with Developers and review the implementation of Data Products to understand data lineage, review data quality issues and ensure that data is consistent through the data ecosystem.
  • Ensure that data is correctly classified and assist with the identification of critical data elements.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to review regulatory reporting to identify core data elements, assess data lineage and work with development teams to determine appropriate solutions to automate and future-proof requirements.
  • Identify and collaborate with data owners and stewards across different departments to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Understand and promote 360 Resourcing Solutions' Data Governance framework.

The role of SQL Data Governance Specialist is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SQL Data Analyst or someone from a technical Business Analyst background who wants to get into the Governance arena. Like all roles here at 360 Resourcing Solutions this is initially a 12-month FTC but every chance of extension and permanent contract.
