Job Title: Physical Performance Coach - England Pathway

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Performance Coach to join our team at The FA. As a key member of our Performance Services department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional physical performance support to our England development pathway teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement physical performance strategies to optimize player performance and reduce injury risk.
  • Work closely with the Lead PPC to deliver the physical performance strategy for the England development pathway.
  • Collaborate with coaches, physiotherapists, team doctors, and team operations managers to deliver integrated physical performance support.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of projects aimed at supporting winning England teams.
  • Embed a process of plan-do-review to drive learning and development through the team.
Requirements:
  • Excellent coaching skills and extensive experience as a team PPC in elite sport.
  • Extensive experience within Professional Football Academy setting.
  • Track record of successfully integrating into established and developing medical and performance teams.
  • Strategic & operational leadership within a physical performance department.
  • Relevant physical performance accreditation (BASES/NSCA/UKSCA/ASCA).
  • Under-graduate qualifications in sports performance related field.
