About the Role

The Natural History Museum is celebrated as one of the most distinguished venues for events globally, known for its exceptional service and execution. As a Venue Sales Executive, you will be an integral part of the Venue Hire team, which focuses on maximizing revenue opportunities for event rentals and filming, catering to a diverse clientele of corporate and private customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the sales of public spaces for events and filming, achieving ambitious sales goals as part of a committed team.

Reporting to the Senior Sales Events Manager, your responsibilities will include: handling initial inquiries, crafting proposals, conducting site tours, securing bookings, preparing contracts and invoices, supporting event operations, nurturing client relationships, and maintaining the events database. Additionally, you will play a role in shaping the sales and marketing strategy and executing business and marketing plans. This position may require evening and weekend work.

About You

The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized with substantial experience in event sales. A proactive mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this position. Familiarity with the events industry and experience collaborating with suppliers will be advantageous. You should be adept at cultivating long-term client relationships, maintaining composure under pressure, demonstrating creative problem-solving abilities, and working independently while being part of a cohesive team. We are seeking a collaborative individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
