About the Role

AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Planner to join its project controls team. As a Senior Project Planner, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop high-quality, integrated schedules in Primavera P6, ensuring stakeholder involvement and approval of baseline schedules.
  • Progress Tracking and Forecasting: Monitor project progress, forecast potential problem areas, and propose mitigation measures to support decision-making.
  • Planning and Scheduling Expertise: Provide planning and scheduling expertise to project teams and wider programs, sharing knowledge and supporting less experienced team members.
Requirements
  • Experience in Project Planning and Scheduling: Demonstrable experience in development, integration, and analysis of project plans.
  • Knowledge of Planning Processes and Tools: Knowledge or experience of using best practice planning processes and tools, including Earned Value Management.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Highly developed interpersonal skills focused on achieving, influencing, and maintaining effective working relationships to meet project goals.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Ability to deliver objectives on time and to high quality with minimum supervision, and experience of coaching, developing, and mentoring a team.
