Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Transport Planner to join our development planning team in Basingstoke. As a Graduate Transport Planner, you will work closely with our senior professionals to assist with various projects, including data collection, accessibility reviews, and transportation assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
  2. Assist with data collection and analysis to inform transportation planning decisions
  3. Conduct accessibility reviews to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  4. Estimate trip generation for development proposals and assess the impact of traffic changes on capacity
  5. Prepare reports, including access appraisals, travel plans, and transport assessments
  6. Work directly with clients, architects, planners, and highway authorities to deliver projects
  7. Participate in business development activities, such as networking events and professional membership

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum 2:1 or Merit. You will also possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with a strong interest in transportation planning.
