Job Title: Senior Highways and Transport Planner

Huphuphup is seeking an experienced Transport Planning Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Highways and Transport Planner, you will be responsible for leading transport development planning projects, working with multi-discipline teams, and managing smaller and medium-sized projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement transport plans for residential, commercial, retail, and leisure developments
  • Manage and coordinate with other consultancies and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Prepare and review technical documents, including Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Environmental Statement Chapters
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, including Highway Authorities
  • Contribute to business development opportunities and fee proposal preparation
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in transport development planning, either in consultancy or a local authority
  • Strong understanding of transport planning principles and highway design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Junctions 10 and LinSig software
