About the Role

AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Planner to join its project controls team. As a Senior Project Planner, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Scheduling
    • Develop high-quality, integrated schedules in Primavera P6, ensuring stakeholder involvement and approval.
    • Track progress against project schedules, forecasting potential problem areas and proposing mitigation measures.
    • Provide planning and scheduling expertise to support project teams and wider programs.
  • Project Controls and Governance
    • Implement planning processes, policies, and procedures.
    • Produce planning and EV deliverables in accordance with business rhythms.
    • Support the Senior Project Controls Manager with emergent projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key project stakeholders.
    • Present schedule analysis to Project Managers and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills
    • Demonstrable experience in development, integration, and analysis of project plans.
    • Knowledge or experience of using best practice planning processes and tools, including Earned Value Management.
    • Highly developed interpersonal skills focused on achieving, influencing, and maintaining effective working relationships.
    • Ability to deliver objectives on time and to high quality with minimum supervision.
