Job Title: Senior Project Planner - Planning Policy

AWE is seeking a skilled Senior Project Planner to support the delivery of complex projects in a highly regulated environment.

As a Senior Project Planner, you will work within a project controls team to implement planning processes, policies, and procedures. You will produce planning and EV deliverables in accordance with agreed business rhythm, deliver long-range operational integrated programme planning activities, and support the Senior Project Controls Manager with emergent projects as directed by the Programme.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing planning processes, policies, and procedures
  • Producing planning and EV deliverables
  • Delivering long-range operational integrated programme planning activities
  • Supporting the Senior Project Controls Manager with emergent projects

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in P6
  • Development, integration, and analysis of project plans
  • Best practice planning processes and tools
  • Confidence modelling processes and techniques
  • An analytical approach along with a passion for interpreting charts and spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of NEC4, standard form of contract
  • Provision of planning and scheduling expertise in support of a project team
  • Prioritising and working to challenging timescales
  • Coaching, developing, and inspiring a team
