Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to define the product strategy for our Freight Solutions business in Europe. In this pivotal role, you will concentrate on establishing the product vision, strategy, and requirements necessary for the growth of our Freight Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate the product strategy for the expansion of Freight Solutions into new markets.
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities.
  • Oversee product performance metrics.
  • Act as the voice of the customer (shipper) to identify and address their challenges.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership at all levels to champion the product strategy.

About You:
  • You are a skilled problem solver, adept at deconstructing complex issues into manageable components.
  • You thrive in a startup-like environment and are capable of navigating ambiguity while leading your team.
  • You possess experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • You are an effective communicator, able to drive consensus within your team.

About the Team:
The Freight Solutions team at Amazon TA is focused on defining the product and strategy for our newly launched business in Europe. Join us in creating the next significant advancement for Amazon.

Our Freight Solutions business offers transportation services for external shippers, utilizing the logistics network developed for Amazon to ensure freight is delivered safely, punctually, and at competitive rates. We provide shippers access to the same network of carriers, technology infrastructure, and tools that Amazon employs to manage thousands of loads daily. Businesses of all sizes can benefit from the cost efficiencies and service levels of one of the largest shippers globally.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A relevant degree.
  • Proven experience in driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Familiarity with feature delivery and product trade-offs.
  • Background as a product manager or owner.
  • Experience managing technology products.
  • Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
  • Experience collaborating across functional teams and with senior stakeholders.
