About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flood Risk Consultant to join our Water Environment team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading flood risk assessments and modeling projects, mentoring junior consultants, and developing relationships with clients and regulators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead flood risk assessments and modeling projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and meeting client expectations.
  • Mentor and develop junior consultants, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and regulators, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with the Water Environment team to deliver projects, share knowledge, and drive business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve our services and deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

  • Strong background in flood risk assessment and modeling, with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., water resources, environmental engineering, or a related field).
  • Proven experience in leading flood risk assessments and modeling projects, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve our services and deliver exceptional results.
