About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of Europe's leading engineering and architecture consultancies, promoting the sustainable management of water resources and protecting the water environment. As a Senior Hydraulic Modeller, you will work on a variety of projects, including flood risk assessments, EIAs, and flood risk management schemes, and provide technical direction to our teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects, working within agreed deliverables, key milestones, project methodology, quality assurance, and control strategy.
  • Provide technical direction to our teams and ensure the quality of flood risk modelling deliverables.
  • Work on a variety of flood risk assessments, EIAs, and flood risk management schemes across the UK.
  • Develop and implement sustainable and innovative solutions to address flood risk and climate change.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in hydraulic modelling applied to a range of projects.
  • Ability to lead and manage projects, working within agreed deliverables, key milestones, project methodology, quality assurance, and control strategy.
  • Knowledge of Flood Risk Assessment, Natural Flood Management, and Sustainable Drainage techniques is desirable.
  • Hold an MSc/MEng and/or PhD focused on either hydrology, hydraulic modelling, water resources, or other applied environmental science subject.
