Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will possess a robust academic foundation in Hydrology, Environmental Management, and Civil Engineering, along with extensive experience in the following areas:

  • Hydrology
  • Hydraulic Modelling
  • Flood Risk Assessment
  • Water Quality Management
  • Pollution Control
Additionally, experience in mentoring junior colleagues is advantageous.

Core Duties Include:
As a Lead Flood Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for:
  1. Conducting Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.
  2. Performing Flood Estimation utilizing FEH and Winfap methodologies.
  3. Executing Water Framework Directive Assessments.
  4. Carrying out Water Quality Assessments.
  5. Implementing Nutrient Neutrality Assessments.
  6. Completing Hydrological Assessments.
  7. Developing Surface Water Management Plans and Catchment Management Plans.
  8. Engaging in Hydraulic Modelling with Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.
  9. Formulating Drainage Strategies.
