We are seeking a highly skilled Flood Risk Consultant to join our Water Environment team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading flood risk assessments and developing relationships with clients and regulators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead flood risk assessments in accordance with NPPF and TAN 15
  • Work with clients and regulators to understand their needs and develop solutions
  • Manage and deliver projects to high standards, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Contribute to business development and growth, identifying new opportunities and developing proposals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices
Requirements
  • Strong Bachelor's degree in a water-related subject, with a higher degree and/or industry experience
  • Substantial experience in flood risk assessments and hydrological and hydraulic modelling
  • Good understanding of the Environment Agency and Lead Local Flood Authorities
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current planning policies and procedures
