Job Title: Compliance Control Room Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Control Room Manager to join our team at Barclay Simpson. As a Compliance Control Room Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Control Room function on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the processing, preparation, and submission of all daily control room reports as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all policies and procedures for the control room.
  • Process PAD requests, Gift & Entertainment requests, and Outside Business Interests submissions.
  • Monitor and maintain the Central Compliance and Control Room function, including workflow and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including MIFID, MAR, and EMIR.
  • Collaborate with the central compliance function to identify and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a control room role, preferably in a compliance team at an investment bank.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in capital markets and sales and trading.
  • Knowledge of MIFID, MAR, and EMIR regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Competitive salary range of £80,000 - £100,000.
  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote work.
