We are seeking a highly experienced Compliance Control Room Manager to join our team at MUFG Bank (Europe) N.V. in a Vice President role. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust conflicts management framework across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive conflicts management framework, including identification, escalation, and management of conflicts of interest.
- Provide guidance and support to the Head of Advisory on regulatory compliance matters, with a focus on conflicts management.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective implementation of the conflicts management framework.
- Manage a team of CCR staff and provide training to the front office on regulatory and conduct matters.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, including MAR and MiFID II, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Extensive experience in compliance within a Conflicts Office, Control Room, or Banking Compliance / Private Side Compliance Advisory role in an investment banking organization.
- In-depth knowledge of MAR and MiFID II compliance.
- Strong knowledge of risk, compliance, and controls.
- Strong educational background with a university degree preferably in Law and/or Financial Regulation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
