Job Summary:

Magnus James is seeking a skilled Lettings Valuer to join our team. As a Lettings Valuer, you will be responsible for creating and arranging market appraisals, identifying client needs, and aligning them with suitable service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market appraisals to determine property values and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Negotiate contracts and fees with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Take high-quality photos and write accurate descriptions for market listings to showcase properties in the best possible light.
  • Measure properties to ensure accurate listings and market appraisals.
  • Manage client lists and maintain effective communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assist in other tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current lettings legislation and landlord/tenant laws is essential.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail, particularly when dealing with contracts.
  • Confidence in interacting with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and good keyboard skills to efficiently manage tasks and data.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, busy environment with a positive and adaptive attitude to help the team achieve its goals.
  • Proactive and results-driven with a desire to achieve success and exceed expectations.
  • Full driving license required for business travel.
