Job Summary:

Magnus James is seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join their team in Block Management. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of a residential block management portfolio, ensuring the highest level of service to clients and leaseholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of a portfolio of residential blocks, totaling 60 units, and ensure that all aspects of the portfolio are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Be the primary point of contact for leaseholders, freeholders, and residents, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct site visits and deal with all aspects of the portfolio, including repairs and maintenance, to ensure that the properties are well-maintained and that the company meets its service agreement levels.
  • Maximize property assets for freeholders and leaseholders, and assist with the service charge collection.
  • Assist with managed property repairs and maintenance enquiries, ensuring satisfactory completion of works and liaising with contractors, utility companies, landlord clients, and tenants.
  • Conduct periodic property inspections and report on the condition of the properties.
  • Assist with the evaluation and amendment of budgets and accounts.
  • Maintain and update the Property Management software and produce reports as required.
  • Diary cyclical maintenance and manage deadlines.
  • Manage keys and raise work orders to instruct contractors for minor works, taking the budget into consideration.
  • Contribute to Focus Meetings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Block Management or Property Management is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage own time effectively.
  • Solid IT skills and technology savvy are necessary to manage the Property Management software and produce reports.
