Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager / Block Manager to join our client's in-house Property Management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a single estate in Birmingham, comprising 600 units with grounds and an on-site management office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a single site with a team of contractors and provide excellent service levels to residents.
  2. Work from home and the site office as required, with a strong focus on visibility on site.
  3. Ensure the estate is well-maintained and that all residents' needs are met.
  4. Collaborate with the client's in-house teams, including accounts, administrative, and assistant property managers.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and quality of life.
  6. Contribute to the development of the client's property management policies and procedures.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in property management.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. 3 years of leasehold experience, preferably in a similar role.
  2. A stable career history and a desire to progress your career long-term.
  3. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. A driving license and car would be beneficial but is not essential.
