About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Support Specialist to join our team at Health Education and Improvement Wales. As a key member of our project team, you will provide administrative support to assist with the planning and delivery of projects, work packages, or products.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to assist with the planning and delivery of a program/project to deliver strategic objectives.
- Work within clearly defined standard processes, escalating risks and issues to the appropriate senior staff as they arise.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to support project delivery.
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure effective project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide support and guidance to other project staff as needed.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects.
Experience
- Experience of working within a demanding/high intensity administrative setting.
- Experience of successful team working.
Skills and Attributes
- Developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Able to plan and prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines and deal effectively with conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously and equally effective as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in use of standard IT packages, Microsoft Office with the ability to master new applications.
