Senior Project Coordinator

M Group Services is actively seeking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee Contracts throughout the UK.
In the role of Project Manager, you will be an integral part of our Operational Team, tasked with ensuring the successful execution of Overhead Line Projects.
Potential assignments will encompass both the comprehensive refurbishment of existing Overhead Power Lines and the planning and construction of new Lines essential for maintaining energy security across the UK. Projects in the pipeline are distributed throughout England.
Your responsibilities as Project Manager will include:
- Establishing Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans and Quality Plans for all operational sites, while contributing to the development of necessary Policies & Procedures.
- Ensuring all required documentation is in place, adhered to, and regularly reviewed for all site-based activities.
- Communicating timely programming and change notifications to support other internal departments.
- Providing technical assistance to the Design department as needed.
- Serving as the primary contact for correspondence and meetings with third parties.
- Collaborating closely with the Head of Operations and Head of Portfolio to coordinate and allocate suitable resource levels across projects.
- Capturing contract changes and compensation events, ensuring that impact evaluations on costs and schedules are conducted with the Commercial team.
- Utilizing project control to enhance efficiency and profitability of projects.
- Submitting timely, accurate, and compliant time bookings, out allowances, and expenses.
- Generating monthly contract review reports.
- Creating project close-out reports.
- Participating in contract review and progress meetings.
- Coaching and mentoring members of the project-specific management team.
- Providing leadership to the project-specific management team.
- Acting as the representative of M Group Services with clients and all stakeholders.
- Maintaining commercial and contractual awareness to ensure proper administration of contracts, safeguarding potential entitlements.
- Proficient understanding of current Health & Safety legislation.
- Solid grasp of administering construction contracts, particularly NEC3/4.
- Familiarity with the fundamental construction elements of the UK electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure.
- Over 5 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects in the capacity of Project Manager.
- Experience in client-facing roles with blue-chip clients, including leading discussions with various stakeholders as the senior representative of the organization.
- Willingness to travel and work from various sites across the UK, with a full clean driving license.
- Desirable: Operational experience in Overhead Line construction and refurbishment projects.
- Desirable: Project Management qualifications and/or Degree/Higher Education.
- Desirable: A recognized Health & Safety qualification, such as NEBOSH General Certificate.
