Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Acuity Care Group Limited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs, including assistance with daily living tasks, medical care, and mobility.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the individual's needs and goals.
  • Support individuals with their daily routines, including meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as peg feeding and deep suctioning, as required.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with complex needs, preferably in a care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require manual handling and mobility.
