Job Summary:

Marks Sattin is seeking a seasoned CFO to join our team and drive financial excellence in a dynamic, PE-backed professional services firm. As a key member of the senior management team, you will play a critical role in executing the company's financial strategy and ensuring the successful integration of acquisitions.

With a focus on delivering exceptional results, the company is seeking a CFO who can provide strategic financial leadership and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Lead the finance and operations department, ensuring the effective implementation of financial systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, identifying risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and deliver the company's business plan, ensuring alignment with the PE firm's investment strategy.
  • Act as a leader and role model, driving a culture of financial excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), preferably chartered.
  • Experience as a CFO in a PE-backed business with a strong track record in a buy and build environment.
  • Proven ability to implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and management information and financial reporting.
  • Experience of buy and build/M&A with a thorough understanding of financial due diligence for acquisitions, and potential risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to operate at pace and drive change.
