Job Title: CFO PE-Backed Professional Services

Marks Sattin is working with an international, PE-backed tech-enabled professional services buy and build business based in the West Midlands. The company has experienced significant organic and inorganic growth through acquisitions via an impressive buy and build platform.

Job Summary:

The CFO will ensure financial excellence and execute due diligence for potential acquisitions. They will provide skilled financial leadership, develop and execute the business's financial strategy, and offer accurate financial projections to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and expansion
  • Lead the finance and operations department, ensuring effective financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
  • Manage financial reporting, including monthly and quarterly financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory bodies
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), preferably chartered
  • Experience as a CFO in a PE-backed business with a strong track record in a buy and build environment
  • Track record of implementing and improving accounting systems, processes, and management information and financial reporting
  • Experience of buy and build/M&A with a thorough understanding of financial due diligence for acquisitions, and potential risks and opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to operate at pace and drive change
