Chief Financial Officer

Grays Search & Selection is seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to join the board and senior management team of a rapidly growing and pioneering company in its niche market. The company is well-positioned financially and strategically to capitalize on its potential, with a culture based on teamwork and agility.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the company's financial, administrative, risk, and legal functions.
- Review and comment on monthly Group IFRS management accounts and present to the board.
- Prepare and review the annual budget and 3-year forecast.
- Lead dialogue with the chair of the audit committee and external auditors.
- Lead, develop, and grow a finance team, ensuring best practice.
- Develop robust financial and tax strategies, ensuring effective internal controls.
- Advise the CEO on fundraising plans and capital structure matters.
- Support the CEO with investor relations and roadshows.
To be considered for this rare and exciting opportunity, you will be a proven CFO with experience in PLC or AIM listed environments. You will have a blend of commercial and technical expertise, helping to develop business and investment strategies and having a real input into commercial and strategic decisions. Previous experience in fundraising and capital generation strategies would be valuable.
You will be able to demonstrate a clear track record of genuine achievement and success in previous positions and will enjoy being part of a team-based culture, fully utilizing your ability to lead from the front.
A 'hands-on' attitude will also be needed in a role that will fully utilize your ability to grow, motivate, and develop a market-leading team.
