About the Role

Ofwat is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Finance and Procurement. As a key member of our Corporate Enablers Directorate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and sustainability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic financial plans to support the achievement of our Time to Act strategy.
  • Oversee the procurement function, ensuring that we secure the best value for money and maintain a strong supplier relationship.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and other senior leaders to drive business outcomes and ensure the effective delivery of our services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including our regulated companies, suppliers, and other external partners.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to our teams, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and expertise to deliver their objectives.
