Job Overview

The Product Strategy EMEA division operates within the Global Product Strategy and Development team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM). This team is pivotal in defining and positioning the diverse range of products offered by JPMAM. They deliver extensive research, thought leadership, and competitive insights to enhance the distribution and quality of product offerings that reflect our global presence.

Position Summary:

As a Vice President of Product Strategy within the EMEA division, you will report to the Head of Product Strategy EMEA. Your responsibilities will include spearheading critical strategic projects such as Sustainable Investing, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), and Alternative Investments. You will also play a key role in advancing our Portfolio Insights Analytics initiative by evaluating client portfolios and delivering actionable insights. Furthermore, you will focus on a designated asset class and/or sales team, working closely with internal departments to understand the competitive environment and provide valuable insights. This position demands exceptional leadership capabilities as you will engage with and present to senior executives globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with investment teams and Product Development to foster product innovation.
  • Engaging with the Funds and Institutional sectors on various sales initiatives and requests, delivering presentations at team meetings and to clients.
  • Presenting to clients regarding strategic partnerships and portfolio insights analytics to effectively showcase our comprehensive JPMAM fund offerings.
  • Working alongside marketing and training teams to ensure clear messaging, develop compelling value propositions, and communicate our product range effectively.
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations for senior management across EMEA and globally.
  • Providing mentorship to junior members of the Product Strategy EMEA team.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in asset management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven influencing and interpersonal skills, with comfort in engaging with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and secure senior management support for key initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of a CFA or MBA is advantageous.
