As a Primary Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting schools and teachers with behaviour management, promoting the best outcomes for children and young people.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established team of Primary School Improvement Consultants in one of the largest Local Authorities in the country. Our team provides support and challenge to our Primary schools with the overall focus of raising standards in our schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement behaviour support strategies in our primary schools through a trauma-informed approach
- Provide expert advice and guidance to schools on behaviour management best practices
- Lead professional development sessions for teaching professionals on behaviour management in schools
- Work collaboratively with schools and other stakeholders to identify and address behaviour management issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in behaviour management in primary schools
Requirements
- Proven track record of outstanding teaching and departmental leadership
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Passion for developing behaviour support in primary schools
- Ability to work as a member of a team providing behaviour management specific support to schools
