About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team at Stockport Council. As a key member of our Parking Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parking services.
Key Responsibilities
- Matching returned DVLA records, printing, and posting parking permits.
- Responding to customer inquiries and providing information as needed.
- Uploading and managing documents within case files, ensuring accuracy.
- Handling Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), issuing parking permits, and responding to customer correspondence.
About You
The ideal candidate will be committed to providing a high standard of customer service and possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to be a quick learner, have previous experience of dealing with customer correspondence, able to prioritise your own workload and work to tight deadlines.
You will have prior experience in an office environment and be proficient in working with standard office IT applications, including MS Office. You should be capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a high level of accuracy. A thorough and methodical approach to your work is crucial, and you must be able to write clear and concise notes to support fellow officers.
