About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Parking Enforcement Team as a Civil Enforcement Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing parking restrictions throughout Stockport, ensuring the efficient movement of traffic and improving road safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrolling parking restrictions throughout Stockport to identify and issue tickets for contraventions
  • Checking pay and display equipment to ensure accurate and efficient operation
  • Working in all weather conditions to maintain a high level of service
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive a Council vehicle
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
