Cultural Activities Coordinator

Your Role We seek dynamic leaders who will assist in planning and executing activities, events, and excursions for our student groups. Each day presents new opportunities, from guiding students on unique outings to hosting engaging themed events. There are also chances to participate in overnight trips and social gatherings within the UK, alongside the many enjoyable activities you will lead. These positions are offered on a full-time, flexible basis, requiring availability for evening and weekend shifts. Responsibilities Facilitate groups of international students during various activities, events, and excursions Foster an energetic atmosphere during outings, ensuring exceptional customer service Oversee the health, safety, and well-being of all students, adhering to risk assessments and emergency protocols Collaborate with co-leaders and the Student Support and Events Manager to enhance future activities and events Ensure adherence to the EF behavior code by all students and promptly report any issues to management Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Student Support and Events Manager or Summer Centre Manager Requirements Highly motivated, energetic, and sociable with a friendly demeanor Confident in leading and managing groups of students Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of working independently Ability to navigate challenging situations calmly and effectively Sensitivity to cultural differences and the needs of international students Flexibility in work hours is essential First Aid training is preferred but not mandatory Experience with youth is advantageous but not required All offers are contingent upon a clear enhanced DBS check and two references Why You Will Enjoy Working with EF Opportunities for continuous professional development Work in a truly international environment Regular social events to foster community Career advancement opportunities are actively supported Staff are encouraged to innovate and take ownership of their ideas Global career prospects available External training on safeguarding and mental health first aid Access to a summer camp canteen Subsidized accommodation options available if needed Explore various towns and cities during your time with us What Our Staff Say "I appreciate the exposure to diverse cultures and the chance to practice different languages."
