Excelcare Holdings has been a family-operated care home group for over 34 years, committed to delivering exceptional care to elderly individuals with diverse needs, including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health challenges. - Competitive pay of £12.70 per hour based on experience and qualifications
- Part-time hours totaling 25 per week, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- As the Lifestyle Activities Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to design and implement meaningful and engaging activities and lifestyle programs that enhance the quality of life for residents.
- Collaboration with team members, family members, and residents will be essential to identify activities and lifestyle adjustments that cater to individual or group needs.
- Opportunities for activities may include in-house events or partnerships with local community organizations, educational institutions, and religious groups.
- Planning excursions is encouraged, thus familiarity with local attractions and external organizations is beneficial.
- This position aims to provide choices and empower residents to foster a vibrant and social atmosphere, ensuring their unique goals are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in a similar role or within a caregiving environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to making a positive impact through your caring nature.
- A confident demeanor with a positive, can-do attitude.
- A sincere commitment to enhancing the lives of elderly individuals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
