Job Title: Lifestyle Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Lifestyle Activities Coordinator to join our team at Brook House Care Home in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and organizing meaningful and engaging activities and a lifestyle program throughout the home to enrich the lives of our residents.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Create and implement a lifestyle program that caters to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Work closely with our care team to understand the needs and preferences of our residents
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local community organizations, schools, and colleges to provide opportunities for our residents
  • Plan and organize days out and activities that promote socialization and engagement
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the lifestyle program and make recommendations for improvement

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Experience in a similar role or in a caring environment
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for working with older adults and creating engaging activities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
