Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a lifestyle program that caters to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, promoting social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
  • Collaborate with our care team, family members, and residents to understand their preferences and create activities that meet their individual needs and goals.
  • Establish partnerships with local community organizations, schools, colleges, and churches to provide opportunities for residents to engage with their community.
  • Plan and coordinate days out, outings, and events that promote socialization, learning, and enjoyment.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the lifestyle program, making adjustments as needed to ensure it meets the evolving needs of our residents.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role or previous experience in a caring environment is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Confident and enthusiastic, with a passion for working with older adults and creating meaningful experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.70, depending on experience and qualifications.
