Your Role We are in search of natural leaders who will assist in organizing and executing activities, events, and excursions for our student groups. Each day presents new challenges, from guiding students on unique outings to hosting themed events. Opportunities also exist for overnight trips and social gatherings within the UK, along with participation in the exciting activities you will lead. These positions are offered on a full-time, flexible basis, which may include evening and weekend shifts. Responsibilities Guide groups of international students through a variety of activities, events, and excursions Foster an engaging atmosphere during outings, ensuring exceptional customer service Take charge of the health, safety, and well-being of all students, including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency protocols in accordance with EF policies Collaborate with co-leaders and the Student Support and Events Manager to enhance future activities and events Ensure adherence to the EF behavior code by all students and promptly report any issues to management Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Student Support and Events Manager or Summer Centre Manager Requirements Highly motivated, energetic, and positive with a friendly and outgoing demeanor Confident in leading and managing groups of students Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of using initiative and working independently Ability to handle challenging situations with composure and maintain calm under pressure Understanding of cultural differences and sensitivity to the needs of international students A flexible approach to work hours is essential First Aid training is preferred but not mandatory Experience with young individuals is advantageous but not required All offers are contingent upon a clear enhanced DBS check and two references Why You Will Enjoy Working with EF Ongoing professional development opportunities Work in a truly international setting Regular social gatherings Career advancement opportunities are encouraged and fast-tracked Staff are empowered to innovate, take ownership of their ideas, and see them come to life Global career prospects External training on safeguarding and mental health first aid Summer camp canteen available Subsidized accommodation options available if needed Explore local towns and attractions What Our Staff Say "I appreciate the exposure to diverse cultures and the chance to practice different languages."
