We are looking for a Neuroradiology Support Specialist who will actively contribute to a multidisciplinary team, showcasing a variety of competencies to fulfill patient needs in a secure, compassionate environment that upholds dignity, privacy, and respect, under the appropriate guidance of the radiology assistant team leader or a licensed healthcare professional.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist in delivering a patient-focused service within the Neuroradiology department by aiding, escorting, preparing, and monitoring patients before, during, and after medical procedures.

This role may require involvement in various modalities, including MRI, CT, and Fluoroscopy.

The individual will be expected to enhance their knowledge and skills within this specialty and will play a role in managing and providing compassionate, high-quality patient care. The position entails ensuring that operational lists run smoothly under the direction of the Radiographers.

The candidate will collaborate with fellow assistants and healthcare professionals and support the training of student radiographers and volunteers.

It is essential to consistently embody the Trust's values and behaviors, adhere to the Trust's Code of Conduct, and uphold the NHS's 6Cs, acting in the best interests of patients while treating everyone with dignity and respect.

The individual has a duty of care towards patients and is expected to fully comply with all Trust policies, particularly those related to personal and patient safety and the prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
