Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent educational institution, is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Facilities Maintenance Engineer, your primary duties will include performing both scheduled and emergency maintenance across the campus facilities.

Your responsibilities will encompass conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and inspections on Air Handling Units (AHU), Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, electrical systems, as well as addressing blockages, leaks, and replacing valves. You will also be responsible for plumbing and drainage tasks and other minor repairs.

This role focuses on first-fix solutions and ensuring safety throughout the premises.

Candidate Requirements:
You may be partially qualified for this position, provided you possess a diverse skill set, a solid understanding of building services, a proactive attitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: £40,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 4.30pm)
  • On-call duty: 1 in 11
  • Overtime opportunities available
  • Pension scheme
  • Training and development support if needed
