As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Executive Chef in achieving exceptional standards of craft, service, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Executive Chef, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and championing all administrative tasks and people support.
- Manage health and safety, food safety aspects, and training folders, educating culinary staff on relevant topics and assisting in the creation and training of the kitchen team on risk assessments.
- Support menu implementation planning, collaborate with other departments, track and manage departmental costs, and facilitate the expense report process between managers and the finance department.
- Oversee non-food stock, support ordering processes, and maintain an allergen tracker for all menus and food items prepared.
- Manage people-related tasks, including monitoring team payroll systems, assisting with holiday planning and sickness updates, supporting kitchen recruitment and onboarding processes, and monitoring and taking action on employee relations issues.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
- Fluent English language skills, as this is the primary language used in our hotel.
