Role Overview

We are thrilled to present an engaging opportunity for an Aquatic Safety Officer at Places Leisure. In this role, you will thrive in a dynamic and enjoyable environment alongside enthusiastic colleagues. Your contribution will be vital in motivating others to collaborate and achieve excellence.

While a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is advantageous, we welcome individuals who are safety-oriented, proficient swimmers, and eager to acquire essential lifeguarding skills. With our commitment to continuous learning and development, we are prepared to assist you in obtaining this qualification.

Beginning your journey with us as an Aquatic Safety Officer opens doors to numerous career paths, including Operational Management, Sales, Fitness, or Customer Service.

In this position, we will provide ongoing training and competency evaluations, as well as opportunities for first aid training, swimming instructor certifications, and various apprenticeship pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise patrons and fellow lifeguards utilizing our aquatic facilities.
  • Maintain a safe environment by ensuring the health and safety of all pool users and overseeing facility operations.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail to guarantee the safety of our guests while they enjoy our amenities.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to exceptional customer service, engaging with patrons in a friendly and professional manner while striving to exceed expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
