About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Packaging and Sustainability team, you will play a critical role in shaping our product packaging strategy and driving innovation in sustainable packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a Vision for Sustainable Packaging: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive vision for sustainable packaging that aligns with Amazon's business goals and customer needs.
  2. Lead Packaging Innovation Initiatives: Drive the development and implementation of innovative packaging solutions that reduce waste, increase efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
  3. Partner with Vendors and Stakeholders: Work closely with Amazon's vendors and stakeholders to align on packaging strategies, drive sustainability initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Analyze and Improve Packaging Processes: Analyze packaging processes and identify opportunities for improvement, working with technical teams to implement automated solutions and drive defect reduction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or environmental science.
  • Proven experience in product management, with a focus on packaging and sustainability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with product cycles of 6+ months and end-to-end product delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in supply chain or operations.
