Job Title: Clinical Director

The Clinical Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and improvement in patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development and implementation of clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Lead a team of clinical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote best practice and patient safety.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical services and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide professional leadership and guidance to clinical staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent patient care.
Requirements:
  • First-level nurse registration with the NMC.
  • Relevant teaching and assessing qualification.
  • Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
  • Experience of working in a leadership role, preferably in a cancer or haematology setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
