Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Pupil Support Team as a Key Worker. This role is crucial in providing tailored assistance to young individuals who require additional support within our nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with young people to identify their needs and provide targeted support.
  • Implement strategies that align with the Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) framework.
  • Utilize effective communication and ICT skills to assess and document progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages personal growth and development.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a minimum of SVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification. Experience in an educational setting, particularly with vulnerable youth and their families, is essential. A solid understanding of the challenges faced by pupils with additional support needs is required.

Desirable Skills

Experience working with young individuals with Additional Support Needs (ASN) and holding an Additional Support for Learning (ASL) qualification will be advantageous.

Personal Attributes

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly motivated, and possess a flexible approach to service delivery. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is crucial.

Please note that this position is temporary and subject to business requirements and funding.

If selected for this role, you will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme.
