Job Overview

Referment collaborates with a premier quantitative hedge fund seeking a Principal Linux Engineer in London.

This position entails contributing to a team dedicated to developing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports their quantitative trading operations across various asset classes.

This technology team is vital to the business, recognized for having outstanding infrastructure engineers worldwide.


The ideal candidate will be a highly proficient and seasoned Linux Engineer, possessing extensive experience with Linux systems in a quantitative or low-latency trading setting.

This role is heavily focused on engineering, and the successful candidate should demonstrate expertise in High-Performance Computing, GPU technologies, Networking, and possess exceptional automation capabilities using scripting languages such as Bash and/or Python.
