In the role of Principal Linux Engineer, you will serve as the primary product authority, playing a crucial part in daily technical operations and escalations. By working closely with clients on-site in Central London, you will ensure the smooth integration and support of advanced AI infrastructure. Your knowledge will also be vital in pre-sales efforts, technical consultations, and customer installations, positioning you as a key contributor to the organization’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site presence at client locations in London (3-4 days a week)
  • Responsible for executing daily technical operations and resolving escalations, including direct engagement with customer and development teams
  • Oversee customer installations, upgrades, and expansions
  • Facilitate monthly and quarterly review meetings with customers
  • Act as a Trusted Advisor to both the customer’s technical team and the internal account team
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to ensure customers fully adopt their products

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in customer-facing, post-sale roles involving complex storage solutions
  • Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience in standard Linux system administration tasks and Linux operating systems
  • Solid understanding of networking principles, along with practical experience in network configurations on Linux and troubleshooting
  • Experience in scripting and programming, with a requirement for bash scripting and familiarity with additional programming languages
  • Extensive experience in file systems and scale-out NAS implementation
